Not unlike us, every actor has that special star who truly inspires them with their talent, and Beth Behrs is no exception. In a Facebook clip posted by CBS for the 50th-anniversary special of "The Carol Burnett Show," the "2 Broke Girls" star explained why the legendary actor, comedian, singer, and writer Carol Burnett is her hero. "The Carol Burnett Show was my grandmother's favorite show," Behrs announced before going on to state that during her childhood, watching Burnett was a tremendous inspiration that encouraged her dreams of being a comedian.
"She really, not only paved the way for us, but was also a master class in comedy and physical comedy," Behrs declared. The star said that she gained plenty of knowledge from watching Burnett, adding that she could truly tell that there was genuine happiness in everyone on the show. Similarly, during an interview with IndieWire, Behrs reaffirmed her love for the iconic comedian and her television series, saying, "Talk about live audience and comedy, you can't get better than that ensemble." Additionally, the star revealed that when Burnett's specials were initially put up on YouTube, she "watched those hundreds of times."
