Lyndsey Kilgore

Professional Background

Dr. Lyndsey Kilgore, MD, FACS, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the division of Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Kilgore was born and raised in Kansas City. She received a B.A. in Human Biology and Business, as well as her M.D. from the University of Kansas. She then chose to stay to complete her General Surgery residency at the University of Kansas and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kilgore left Kansas to complete a Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Here she held numerous leadership positions, participated in cutting-edge research, and won the Fellow of the Year award.
