(Optional) Define a Propagation Criteria by selecting the required propagation conditions from the list:
Propagation criteria decides when to propagate events
- The Selector Details tab enables you to define a criteria for events that can qualify for the policy. The Propagation Criteria enables you to define rules to propagate events depending on the slot value changes.
- A
whenclause is re-evaluated each time the processed event is modified so that it matches thewhencondition. For more information about thewhenclause, see When clause.
Example 1: The following propagation criteria indicates that the policy will propagate an event when the Severity value is Critical
Example 2: The following propagation criteria indicates that the policy will propagate an event when the Priority value is greater than Low.
Example 3: The following propagation criteria indicates that the policy will propagate an event when the Status value is Acknowledged.
Example 4: If you do not specify any propagation criteria, the policy will propagate an event if it matches the where condition of the rule specified in the Selector Details tab.
